There are plenty of recipes in here, but contrary to what the title lead me to believe, this book will not give you a recipe for any African black soap. It is a principal ingredient in the recipes, but it's expected that you will buy ABS elsewhere, and convert it to a liquid soap. I'm just grateful i got this book free, if I'd spent money I'd have been upset. This title is fairly misleading.Product details

Liquid African Black Soap Recipes for Skin and Hair edition by Lisa Maliga Crafts Hobbies Home eBooks Reviews
Works for me.
It’s got great information and it’s free!
I'm sorry to say this book seems to have more information on where to shop for this soap than how to make it. Disappointed
I expected to see how to make African black soap from scratch in this book but all I see is how to select African black soap and to turn them into liquid soaps. Nothing exciting
Disappointed - the information given lead me to believe this book was a collection of soap making recipes, but it is actually recipes for liquefying existing (AKA purchased) African Black soap in various ways. What's worse is that the recipes take up only a small percentage of the book! The first 45% of the book is basic (I mean really basic!) descriptions of the additional ingredients that will be used, beyond the purchased AB soap. Then at the 67% mark it begins a list of sources where one can purchase the soap and additional ingredients, followed by a long list of other books you can buy, some on soap making, many more totally unrelated.
Oh well, it was free, so all I wasted was my time and space in my reader - the latter which is a correctable problem.
I knew nothing about African black soap. This book was a very basic book in explaining how it's made and how it can be used. I now use African black soap as a shampoo and it works great in preventing the usual scalp itching that I get from store bought shampoos. It's a basic good book.
Almost done reading, very good information. My daughters starting a soap business and interested in making many kinds of soaps for her customers. Very informative and had information on soaps that I was never aware of in the process. Good job and links.
